There are two distinctly different types of massage treatments to choose from:

“Custom Relax Massage” OR “Medical/Manual Massage Therapy Treatment”

Our rates for CUSTOM RELAX MASSAGE and MEDICAL/MANUAL MASSAGE THERAPY TREATMENT are both considerably less than the allowable Workman’s Compensation rates set in Oregon. Whether you are in pain, injured or just want to relax you will be working with the most skilled Licensed Massage Therapists in the Portland area. We accept cash, checks and all types of credit cards. Time of service rates are offered to everyone as well as non-contracted insurance companies.

Custom Relax Massage:  This is a full body massage using light or deep touch with light or deep pressure tailored to the preferences of the client.  Combining integrative massage techniques of Swedish, Ashiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Thai, and sports massage using long or short sweeping strokes (effleurage), muscle kneading and rolling (petrissage), rhythmic tapping (tapotement), or fast percussion movements (petrissage). It is great for stress reduction, relaxation, increasing circulation and energy, balancing meridians (energy systems), stretching contracted muscles and lowering blood pressure.

CUSTOM RELAX MASSAGE RATES:

60 minutes = $100.00 discounted time of service rate / $130.00 for anything other than time of service

90 minutes = $150.00 discounted time of service rate / $190.00 for anything other than time of service

Medical/Manual Massage Therapy Treatment:  This type of massage is for medical necessity and focuses on specific areas of the body that are causing pain and need rehabilitation from an injury. It utilizes a combination of manual massage techniques to shift underlying structures of the body causing pain and restriction. These massage techniques can include myofascial release, trigger point, range of motion, mobilization, lymphatic drainage, and hands on traction.  Manual mobilization of the muscles and supporting connective tissue, can offer the patient complete relief from pain.  This service is only given by massage therapists with specialized training and certification in manual manipulation techniques.  We have a shared goal with both the client and the practitioner of achieving structural changes within the body, generally through a series of manual massage treatments.

Medical/Manual Massage Therapy Treatment is extensive and includes:  An initial evaluation is performed on your first visit. We do a thorough evaluation of the muscle pain based on your symptoms, pain levels, range of motion testing and the doctors’ prescription (if required).  Also included are notes, prescription management with your primary care practitioner (if needed), and collaboration with all of your health care providers. We take the time to listen to all the details of your situation. Our group of licensed massage therapists are skilled in range of motion testing with follow up based on your last treatment.  Included in your treatment are recommendations as we plan for the following visit. We look at your progress and take note of your pain reduction levels and monitor progress.

MEDICAL/MANUAL MASSAGE THERAPY TREATMENT RATES:

1 unit = 15 minutes @ $42.50

4 units = 60 minutes = $170.00

DISCOUNTED TIME OF SERVICE RATE:

60 minutes = $150 if paid at the time of service

Note:  For prices above the 60 minute time frame simply add 1 unit for each 15 minute increment.
